HYDROELECTRIC POWER STATION
A hydroelectric power plant is one that converts the energy of water into electricity generation.
In general, these plants take advantage of the potential energy that the water mass of a natural channel possesses by virtue of a vertical drop, also known as a geodetic jump. The water in its fall between two levels of the channel is passed through a hydraulic turbine which transmits the energy to an alternator in which it converts it into electrical energy.
Genelek Sistemas supplies the regulation and control systems for hydroelectric power plants. Control and regulation tables for hydraulic turbines and accessory elements.
